Solomon's book, In The Beginning: Tracing The Gospel Story In Genesis, Eve’s attitude after her children are born teaches us how to overcome the heavy shame of sin and return to God. Restore my hope when things feel shattered. Just as You comforted Eve with the birth of Seth after her greatest heartbreak, I trust that You can rebuild my life too. Cleanse my heart, take away my guilt, and help me walk closely with You once again.

Through Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen."
