Poison ivy is a fictional character and is an enemy of Batman. She is a very attractive red-haired woman, dressed in a green suit made of sheets, and obsessed with Botany. She uses toxins from plants to carry out her crimes and also uses seduction to take advantage. Ultimately she aims to destroy the human race and create a world where plants dominate.
She intertwined with the plants and roots almost like shes growing right out of them.

The Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley is a Botany of Seattle, with great knowledge about plants. However, the scientist Jason Woodrue (alias Floronico man) experimented with it, injecting toxins into the blood to make it immune to any type of poisons, viruses and bacteria. This gave other skills to poison ivy. The toxins also made her sterile, and since then she is only a non-reproductive child plant.

The cosplay is based on a fairly classic vision of the character. Poinson Ivy came to the city of Gotham in 1966, in premiered Batman comics number 181. A few decades later she is promoted to the position of the main enemy in the comic's female protagonist, after Catwoman, who became his reluctant ally.

Popularity also extended into in a number of games such as, The Adventures of Batman & Robin, Batman Vengeance, Batman: Dark Tomorrow , and the DC Universe. Players, will remembered it, especially in Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Arkham City.

Woodrue escaped authorities, abandoning Pamela in the hospital for six months. Enraged by the betrayal, Pamela suffered violent and sudden changes of mood.

After her boyfriend had a car accident, Pamela abandoned her studies and left Seattle bound to Gotham City. There her first offense: threatened to release deadly airborne spores unless the city accepts her demands. Thus she became known as poison ivy.

Batman, who appeared the same year in Gotham, thwarted her plans by enclosing her in Arkham asylum.

Pamela is very appealing and can seduce men with ease, since she uses pheromones from plants. She specializes in hybrids and can create the most powerful toxins throughout Gotham City. The toxins from her body make her lips to contain a deadly poison, and this makes her very dangerous. In some occasions she uses her weapon in the form of poisoned darts.

Ivy gained even more features of plant after a fight with Catwoman (Catwoman vol.1 N ° 57), where one of her experiments fell on it and gave it a greenish tone to the skin. In some comics book numbers she can mentally control plants.

The nudity in comics is often sexualized in some way. Ivy is definitely a sexualized character - the "femme fatale" with a deadly kiss and power to enslave men and make them do his will - but it seems to be naked or just use the leaves, is not to produce excitation, but as a way to show a character that is in tune with nature and the rejection of social convention humans around her.
