SINGAPORE - Former actress Jacelyn Tay (郑秀珍 Zhèng xiù zhēn) has been both slammed and praised after posting a photo of herself in a bikini to recommend breast pumps.

In the post shared on Instagram on Monday, Tay, 47, who is now a health coach and nutrition consultant, wrote: “OK, don’t think crooked with this photo. Am going to talk about breast pumps for breastfeeding mums.”

She added two laughing-crying emojis before going on to compare two different brands of hands-free breast pumps.

Saw this product from onewillow.com @willowpump . I am not paid for advertising. Purely sharing so it benefits new moms followers here who struggle with breastfeeding. If during my era there is such a hands-free pumping gadget for breast milk, more moms would have an easier time. You can get it online from Lazada or Amazon.

There is another brand Elvie. The main difference between the Elvie vs Willow is that Willow offers more flexibility in the positions you can pump in. While you can move around while pumping with the @elvie Elvie eg. bend over to do laundry and pick up your baby, the Willow claims that you can pump while laying down, which is a major plus. However, Elvie could hold more milk.

A friend used willow pump, said it is very difficult to use, and it keeps jamming up. Husband wanna order the Elvie next to try but wife is very put-off by the Willow and doesn't want the give it a go. If you have used them, perhaps you wanna give your comments here to share your experience with other mummies?

Last weekend, my 47 yr old friend talked about trying for a baby. A relative of mine recently gave birth to her first child via IVF at 49 yr old. I wish all ladies here hoping to conceive have a great success. I do have some clients trying to conceive now. Building a healthy immune system, a healthy weight/body fat % and visceral fat and regular menses that requires proper nourishment is crucial to rebalancing your hormones. Good luck!

The divorced mother of an 11-year-old added that she was not paid to endorse the products and said: “Purely sharing so it benefits new mum followers here who struggle with breastfeeding.
