Local actress Chen Xiuhuan (陈秀环 Chén xiù huán) bid an emotional farewell at the airport to her second daughter Shalynn Tsai, who is studying abroad.

In a social media post on Tuesday (Dec 7), Chen, 56, wrote: "As you fly off once again for school, I don't know when I can see you again after this time. My heart hurts so much, but I need to release you. Go!"

She urged her 21-year-old daughter to study hard.
