Besides providing a feast for the stomach, it appears some eateries are dishing out a feast for the eyes as well.

Photos of a bosomy Taiwanese barbeque seller who helps out occasionally at her family-owned joint along the scenic Alishan Highway went viral after making its rounds on the Interweb last week.

This came after a video of the 'barbeque goddess' was posted by a patron on Tuesday (March 5).

In the video that has amassed almost 50,000 views, the focus was very much on the woman in a low-cut top working behind the counter, hurrying about and serving patrons at the barbeque joint.

The 'barbeque goddess' has since been identified as Ruo Yan -- a former model and performing artist.

With her dazzling smile and a to-die-for figure, Ruo Yan, 36, looks barely a day past 30.

The star of the viral video, who is a member of the Tsou (Cou) tribe, an indigenous group in Central Southern Taiwan, has been labelled a must-visit "scenic pit stop" for tourists on the way up the mountains.

A friend of Ruo Yan's left a comment on her Facebook: "You're causing a huge commotion on many travelling forums," accompanied by a picture of her working the grill.

Ruo Yan humbly replied: "That's such an exaggeration! [I am] So thankful for everyone's support!"

"One of the strongest fighters who is also our part-timer is working at the barbeque joint today. Gather here today, sisters," posted Ruo Yan on March 3 along with pictures of the hunk.

Ruo Yan is not the first roadside hawker or food seller to go viral for looking pleasantly out of place at their ordinary jobs.

The spotlight has previously been thrown on a "sexy" Taiwanese lady boss of a dumpling shop, pretty ice-cream girl, voluptuous model-butcher, as well as the "pork princess" of Taipei and the hunky bak kwa sellers in Malaysia.

A pretty stall vendor from a night market in Taipei has become an internet sensation after a video of her making ice cream went viral.
The video of the girl going about her job was posted on YouTube, and has since drawn the attention of people worldwide.
However, viewers are probably more interested in her looks than what she is making.

She's also a diligent worker. She is not fazed by all the attention (and orders) she's getting from mesmerized customers. We're not sure whether they're drooling over the dessert or the maker herself, but we bet it's the latter. Our mystery girl's name is Cindy. In fact, she's been sharing her wonderful crepe-making abilities on national TV for a while now. For male fans, it is unfortunate with her equally sweet voice, that she is helping her Boyfriend's grandmother - selling ice-cream.

In hopes of increasing sales, a food stall in Taichung's Beitun District engaged a voluptuous model to be its 'manager' for one day. Taiwanese news websites also began referring to the model as "Braised Sister".

Fans of Zhang posted pictures of her online and labelled her the 'pork princess' for her good looks and line of work.
Zhang was not too keen on her nickname from admirers and said even her friends call her 'pork sister' now.
Down to earth Zhang has not let her internet fame go to her head and continues to work as a butcher as well as making Chinese wontons. 
An elderly stallholder, who has watched Zhang grow up, said she had always been a 'good girl' with a 'strong spirit' who worked there despite its unappealing smells and surrounds.
Zhang said that despite all the offers since her internet fame, she is keen for life to return to normal and get on with her job.

Philospohy student Zhang Caijie, 25, decided to work on the stall while taking a break from studies. The former philosophy student, who studied at Fu Jen Catholic University, has been helping out at a market in Dongmen Market, Taipei, the People's Daily Online reports.
'They ask me if I have a boyfriend, which school am I studying at as well as other details,' Zhang said.
'It's quite embarrassing actually. They tell me that girls who work for their family are good girls and that they like this type of girl.'
She added: 'One guy tried to pressure me into adding him as a friend online but I simply refused.'
She told reporters that her family are third generation butchers and that she decided to work there after taking a break from her studies.

AFTER durians and tau fu fah, the Chinese New Year favourite bak kwa (dried barbecued pork slices) is the next to have "hunky" men promoting the delicacy. Major Chinese dailies highlighted the Internet buzz surrounding Wong Quan Jing, 27, and his friend Fong Tian Li, 25, after pictures of them selling and promoting bak kwa in Kluang, Johor, went viral. Pictures posted by their friends on Facebook garnered more than 400 shares and over 5,500 likes within 24 hours. The duo, who are friends, are also personal trainers at a fitness centre.
