A debate has erupted online over the appropriateness of a man's action that helped a deer escape the clutches of a python.

Thai netizens recently saw a video of the event.

The video recorded in Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Sri Racha district, Chonburi province on Saturday (May 30) showed a python trying to swallow a spotted deer.

So, don't hurt or kill that snake - call Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (Acres). Call Acres wildlife rescue hotline for help at 9783 7782. Sad but that's the circle of life.

Should we encounter a snake in the wild – out in nature – walk away slowly and quietly and try to avoid the animal. Snakes will usually slither away from humans so take care not to provoke them. Even the non-venomous pythons can and will bite if they feel threatened.

Snakes dislike the odor of ammonia so one option is to spray it around any affected areas. Another option is to soak a rug in ammonia and place it in an unsealed bag near any areas inhabited by snakes to deter them away. Snakes don't like the smell of the mixture and the fumes are also itchy on their skin.

Koh Samui residents angry over naked foreign tourist hugging iconic landmark

BANGKOK: Samui residents are calling on police to locate and arrest a naked foreign tourist who was photographed hugging Hin Ta rock, which is regarded by local residents as a symbol of Koh Samui in Surat Thani.

The photos show the unidentified woman walking around and hugging the rock, which resembles a phallus, to pose for photos.

They were posted on the Facebook group of local residents.

The residents called on police to locate and arrest the woman for committing a disrespectful act to the spirit of Hin Ta, which they believe is haunted by the spirit of an old man.

Local residents erected the Hin Ta and Hin Yai shrine for grandpa and grandma spirits.

Several local tales are associated with the formation of these rocks; one being that the rocks are transformed bodies of an elder couple known as Ta Kang and Yai Riam.
To reach these rocks, visitors need to pass a short narrow passage lined with small shops, souvenir stores and stalls selling many handmade items.

Food seller Sutida Wongyai said: 'The rock is very special and represent our island. It is an insult to do this to it.'

Hotel boss Suriya Promsri added: 'Nobody should be naked in public here. That's offensive.

'The police need to find her and prosecute her. It will warn other people not to disrespect the island.'

Resident Niwin Suksan, 34, who runs a stall near the stone, added: 'I felt very uncomfortable after seeing the picture. I want the police to take appropriate action to avoid this happening again. The grandfather rock has a long history and the people of Samui are proud of it.'

The Hin Ta rock, a tourist attraction in the island, is found next to a smaller Hin Yai rock - the first resembles the male genitalia and the second female.

Locals believe that an elderly couple sailed to the island to propose a marriage for their son but their boat was capsized in a storm causing them to lose their dowry.

Fearing the shame of turning up penniless, they are said to have leapt into the sea, before being reborn as two male and female rocks on the island.

Despite warning signs on the beach, the unfortunate phallic shape of the rock regularly attracts pranksters who cause offence by climbing on it or posing next to it.

In August 2016 local authorities launched an unsuccessful manhunt for a tourist who went rock climbing on rock the posing on top of it. While in February a model sparked anger with a cheeky photo in front of the landmark.

Police on the island today confirmed they had received a complaint about the naked tourist and were investigating.

A spokesman said: 'This is not acceptable and officers will investigate the images and try to find the woman.'

BANGKOK - Photos posted to Facebook of an almost nude waitress at a coffee shop in Chon Buri's Sattahip district trigged a storm of criticism from mostly women users of the site.

The post, by a Facebook user with the account name of Krua Sahapat-Laem Chabang at 7am Saturday, drew over 3,500 comments in just five hours.

It also drew over 21,000 reactions and was shared over 8,800 times in the five-hour period.

The photos show a beautiful young woman wearing underwear and no bras. She has covered her front with a barista apron, leaving little to the imagination.

"Do you have to do as much as this to promote your shop? So, do you want to open a coffee shop or a brothel?" asked Facebook user Benyapa Rungkitsataporn. "This kind of promotion prompted female baristas like me to be viewed negatively," posted another Facebook user.

"Now, foreigners perceive Thailand as brothels. Please have understanding for working people in the profession [when] you use this kind of bad promotion. Please understand how they will be perceived."

And user Arisara Suwattanakorn posted: "You don't have to undress to promote a coffee shop. People come to drink coffee, not come to a massage parlour. It's shameful for both the model and the shop owner."

Women of the same species scientifically turned green with envy and jealously subconsciously when placed in close proximity to one another. Their criticism is a form of compliment to a form which is delightful to their secret desire. Judging from the 21,000 reactions, her devilish beauty must be wonderful, even at close range.

Coffee-shop owner in Thailand may face charges over saucy waitress post [3]
Police are considering pressing charges against the owner of a coffee shop in Chon Buris Sattahip district, who allegedly posted a video clip and photos of two models wearing only an apron and underwear while serving coffee to customers.

The photos and video clip, meant as an advertisement to attract more visitors to the coffee shop, were widely shared on Thai social media with many criticising the move.

Plu Ta Luang superintendent Pol Colonel Thanachai Usahakit said officers had already summoned the coffee shop owner and the models to report to police late on Sunday.
