While some parents would panic on behalf of their kids before a major exam, others go easy on themselves.

Local television host Diana Ser (徐秀盈 Xú xiù yíng) used to be the former when it came to her eldest child's Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE), but seems to have gotten tired of it now that she's going through it for the third time with her youngest.

Diana went on Instagram yesterday (Sept 28) to share how she has changed when it comes to her children's PSLE period.

Actress Xixi Lim, best known for her role in the recent Ah Girls Go Army movies (女兵外傳 nǚ bīng wài zhuàn), has called out a netizen who repeatedly fat-shamed her.

In her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (June 28), the 34-year-old, who played an overweight recruit named Yuan Yuan Yuan (meaning round in Chinese), shared a series of screenshots of the nasty comments, mostly about her weight.

Lim plays recruit Yuan Yuan Yuan (圆圆圆 yuán yuán yuán). In Chinese, "yuan" can mean round. After the above publicity material was posted online on Jan. 23, a number of people voiced their opinions that the joke was making fun of fat people, and thus fat-shaming.
