Ms Tuhina Singh, the CEO of digital securities firm Propine, was initially identified on Tuesday as the woman who made headlines for claiming to be a "sovereign".

The woman was later identified as Paramjeet Kaur, a 40-year-old who has been charged with breaching safe distancing regulations and being a public nuisance.

The physiotherapist was caught on video on Sunday at Shunfu Mart refusing to put on a mask and claiming she is a "sovereign" who is not subject to laws here.

Between her arrest on Monday night and her being charged on Tuesday afternoon, doxxers wrongly identified Ms Singh as the woman involved.

They posted her personal details online, including her photos and names of her colleagues, prompting a string of racist and xenophobic comments against her.

Calling it a case of mistaken identity, Propine said in a statement on its LinkedIn page on Wednesday: "It has come to our attention that there has been misinformation, spreading across the social media, about our CEO, Ms Tuhina Singh, being confused as the Singaporean woman who was recently arrested for flouting Covid-19 mask rule and claimed to be 'sovereign'.

Ms Singh was also quoted in the statement as thanking those who stood up for her.

To say that the basis of the trial was to discover the true identity of Jesus is a little misleading, because the decision had already been made about His identity. The main concern of the people involved in the trial was not to discover who Jesus was, but to punish him for who he claimed to be. The consequences will be eternal. Jesus is a good teacher, a prophet, the Son of God. The men who were holding Jesus in custody were mocking him as they beat him. They also blindfolded him and kept asking him, “Prophesy! Who is it that struck you?” And they said many other things against him, blaspheming him (Luke 22:63-65).

Jesus Christ was the preeminent prophet of God. These soldiers were mocking and cursing Jesus, uttering all kinds of blasphemies against him. These soldiers meant to condemn Christ, but only brought upon their own condemnation. Jesus is the great prophet. These soldiers may mock Christ now, but they will not mock him forever. One day they will have to pay for how they treated the Son of God.

We do not have the ability to beat the living Christ as these soldiers did, but that does not mean we do not have the ability to mock the living Christ, or our fellow mankind. Who knows, the one we mocked may one day be our Judge.

Do not mistake the true identity of Christ. He will one day be our Judge, but He came to be our priest. He chose to be condemned with his own words so we could stand on His shoulders now (while in a pool of quick sand), and let him lift us to safety. With selflessness the One who is not ashamed to call himself our brother saved us despite our waywardness (Hebrews 2:11). Trust Him as the Priest who died in our place. [2]
