The spread of COVID-19 isn't showing signs of petering out and we now can't head out without seeing people in surgical masks.

But while it's hardly an extraordinary sight, we probably don't expect to see them wearing these masks to a club - it isn't exactly the most fashionable accessory.

A group of women were however, recently pictured partying at Zouk with surgical masks on. Because in times of coronavirus, you take your precautions but life goes on as per normal.

Ok in all seriousness though, Zouk has implemented several precautionary measures to ensure the well-being of its patrons, including mandatory temperature checks, travel history screening, intensified cleaning and disinfection, and the availability of hand sanitisers and face masks.

Have fun but stay safe, ya'll.

'Sexy Vampire'
PHOTO: Sexiness - the natural feminine allure that women have when it comes to their overall demeanor.

"The girl had a beautiful figure and was lovely to look at." (Esther 2:7). She just was. Her sexiness was something that was naturally given to her as a women. She was naturally sexy because that was a part of her feminine essence.  Having curves and being lovely to look were things that men could see about her. I am sure she was not walking around with no clothes on but these things were something that people naturally noticed about her in whatever attire she was wearing. She was not ashamed about her looks or her body and she did not feel the need to hide in a huge potato sack in order to cover up her womanly charms. Just like she did not feel the need to overly flaunt them.

"Your breasts are like two fawns, like twin fawns of a gazelle that browse among the lilies." (Song of Solomon 4: 5). Solomon was talking about his bride on his wedding say but I am sure that he did not just open his eyes on his wedding day and notice that he was VERY attracted to his bride, physically that is.  He talks about her physical appearance and her admiration for EVERY part of her body. He also talks about being attracted to her, he literally says her breast are like two gazelles and he wants to mount them!

"Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics." (Esther 2:12). Using cosmetics and perfume to improve physical appearance to become more appealing in a God approved way. Then it is okay to be noticed for the attractiveness and sexiness.

You can look nice, you look visually appealing to men but you can also cover it up and not let it all hang out in order to look sexy. That is a very worldly view of sexiness. Not a godly view of sexiness.

As a woman, beauty and sexiness can happen. Ensure that you are pulling it off correctly in a way that God would approve of. There is nothing wrong with embracing it and there is nothing wrong with enhancing it as long as it is done the RIGHT way. [2]

In between registering residents and giving out surgical masks, 42-year-old Sukkuriya dashed home to make and serve ginger tea to her fellow volunteers and neighbourhood committee members on Saturday (Feb 1).

Even though she wasn't able to collect any surgical masks for herself, the single mother doesn't mind.

"It's not that urgent for me, the other residents can collect them first," she told Lianhe Zaobao. "I made tea for everyone to drink, it can help boost their immune system."

In the face of the novel coronavirus outbreak, certain ugly behaviour might have made the headlines but several unsung heroes in Singapore have been quietly working behind the scenes to help their fellow countrymen.

Sukkuriya wasn't the only one running around Henderson-Dawson ward, ensuring residents received their government-allocated masks.

Other volunteers, stationed in one of the three stations in the same ward, made announcements in different languages informing residents to collect their free masks using loudhailers.

"The residents here are mostly the elderly, so we've got to work hard to let more people know there are free masks for collection," a 40-year-old volunteer told the Chinese daily.

Other kind acts by locals also came under the spotlight on social media over the past few days.

Meanwhile, several Carousell users have posted listings offering to give away free surgical masks to those in need, as long as they can meet up at the lister's convenience.

A Carousell spokesperson told AsiaOne: "We are heartened by our Carousell users coming together to list free masks and help one another — these transactions remind us what the power of a community marketplace like Carousell can bring."

In order to support these users, Carousell has also created a free items category through which those in need can contact them.
