Marina Marina (Russian)
Marina was born in 1970 in a small city called Tambov, in rural Russia. She started playing piano at a very early age and was accepted in a special school for musically gifted children at age seven.

After graduating from the musical school at age 17, Marina went to work in order to earn a little money to continue her musical and general education in a collage. She was hired by a nearby factory as an assistant to the graphic designer at the advertising department. And here quite sudden to herself Marina found out that she is a very talented designer and fine artist.

In 1990 she enrolled into the art & graphic department of the State University in Kostroma. She graduated with honors in 1996 and for several years worked as both designer and fine artist.

In 1990 Marina started taking part in art shows across the country. The Kostroma Chapter o the Union of Artists of Russia took her paintings on tour and she exhibited in St Petersburg and Moscow. In 1997 she received Grand Price at the Kostroma Regional Fine Art Show, and in 2000 she received 1st price at the National Juried Show of Portrait Art.

In 2001 and 2005 Marina was selected to represent her region on the All-Russia fin art show "Best Young Talent" in the Central Palace of Art in Moscow, Russia.

In 2009 Marina took part in an exhibition "Artists of Russia to Watch" and was elected "The Artist to Watch" of 2009. Her "Nude" was made the face of the new "Portal Nu" of the Russian art on Internet and acquired by the Fine Art Museum of her native city Kostroma.

As a result of this success in 2010 she was approached by representatives of Christie's Auctions of London. Her work now successfully sold on Christie's and in St Petersburg's galleries. She and her family moved to St Petersburg, Russia and reside there now.

Marina is married to a fellow artist Aydemir Saidov, and has an 18-years old daughter studying painting as well as her parents did.

During her development in the art world she tried to elaborate her own personal style and to choose the genre to work with constantly. Finally she considered the nude theme to be the most interesting and the richest one for her painting.

In the summer time 2012 Marina started to work with Art-7 Art Gallery in London. Her works represented at Lotton Gallery, USA. In the autumn "American Art Collector" magazine represented Marina Marinas art on its pages.

Abramović placed on a table 72 objects that people were allowed to use (a sign informed them) in any way that they chose. Some of these were objects that could give pleasure, while others could be wielded to inflict pain, or to harm her. Among them were a rose, a feather, honey, a whip, olive oil, scissors, a scalpel, a gun and a single bullet.
For six hours the artist allowed the audience members to manipulate her body and actions. This tested how vulnerable and aggressive the human subject could be when hidden from social consequences. By the end of the performance, her body was stripped, attacked, and devalued into an image that Abramović described as the "Madonna, mother, and whore".
Additionally, markings of aggression were apparent on the artist's body; there were cuts on her neck made by audience members, and her clothes were cut off of her body.

God poured out His Holy Spirit in a wonderful way with "tongues of fire" on the "Day of Pentecost". Jesus workers were given an explosion of power to witness about Jesus. This burst of God’s power led to miracles and healing. When needed, the workers were miraculously given new languages to share their faith. [Acts 2:1-4]

Preaching had the power of the Holy Spirit behind it. But, the Jewish leaders tried to stop the work. Many Christians were put in prison. Later, some like Stephen, were killed.

Aydemir Saidov (Russian-Born 1979)
Aydemir was born in 1979 in a small city in a southern part of Russia. His father Seyfulla Saidov was an award winning artist, member of the prestigious Union of Russian Artists, and leader of the local art community. His father attempted to ignite interest in art in his children, and encouraged any creative activities they wanted to be engaged in.

Aydemir from the beginning showed that he is the son of his famous father and at age three painted a green goat that is still in the family archives as one of the most important items, together with the father's medals and accommodations.

When Aydemir turned 11 he was accepted into a special school for gifted in art children. From day one Aydemir became the star at the school and constantly won all competitions and juried shows that children were allowed to participate in.

At 15, in 1994 Aydemir was accepted into the Krasnodar Art Junior College and continued to win juried shows and competitions for art students.

In 2000 Aydemir graduated with honors from the Junior College and was accepted as an outstanding talent into the St Petersburg (Russia) Academy of Fine Art.

In 2005 he won countrywide competition of student drawings and received First Prize and special, accommodation.

In 2006 Aydemir graduated with honors from the Academy.

During his studies at the Academy, in order to pay for education and Aydemir painted commissioned portraits and sold his still lives and landscapes in the galleries of St Petersburg. He often went to south Russia to make sketches of interesting landscapes for his future paintings.

In 2003 he met his future wife Mari'na Ma'rina who came to the same place to make sketches. They met on the plain air while painting the same scenery.

In 2007 Aydemir received an offer from Christie's Fine Art Auctions of London to cooperate with them. He is working with the auctions since that time and until present.

In 2009 Aydemir took part in the "Portal Nu" exhibition in the Romanov Fine Art Museum of the city of Kostroma. Then in 2010 in a famous "Fall Exhibition" in the St Petersburg Union of Artsts where he started showing his nude and semi-nude figurative paintings.

He was chosen for the 2011 exhibition "Artists of Russia to Watch."

In 2013 he was exhibiting alongside most important Russian figurative answers in an exhibit "Body from Olympics to Olympics."

Paintings by Aydemir are now in museums in Russia as well as in private collections in Great Britain, the USA, Germany, China and several other countries.
