Result slips were issued to school candidates at their respective institutions at 2pm. Private candidates will receive their results by post, or can access their results through the SEAB website at http://www.seab.gov.sg.

The previous system of AO, A and S papers was replaced in 2006. In the current A-Level curriculum, students choose subjects from H1, H2 or H3 tiers. The first two tiers are graded, with grades A through E counting as a pass.

Candidates may can select any combination and number of H1 and H2 subjects but must take either the H1 General Paper or H2 Knowledge and Inquiry paper.
